2025 iPad (11th generation)

Years back, after dealing with replacing my kids’ tablets year after year, I opted to go for an Apple iPad. Even though it was more costly upfront, I probably paid more for cheaper tablets over the years leading up to this big purchase. I did not regret it. My kids have been using their current iPads for 3+ years and they are still a powerhouse for everything that they need.

My girls are more responsible now than when they first got their iPads. Yes, I protect them with screen protectors and cases, but they are very gentle and are not often irresponsible with any items I buy them. Last month my nephew dropped his 3 year old iPad and cracked, no shattered, the screen. He did not have a case or screen protector on it (which I had previously purchased for him!). Grandma bought him a new 2025 11th generation iPad and it’s just flat out AMAZING. It’s faster (he didn’t need faster), has brighter and more vivid colors, and has a better camera than prior iPads, just to mention a few things. Below are some of the highlights and reasons why I would recommend the new iPad.

The 2025 iPad (11th generation) is Apple’s latest entry-level tablet, designed to deliver speed, simplicity, and strong value. Powered by the A16 Bionic chip, it offers a noticeable performance boost compared to the previous model—making it faster and more efficient for everyday tasks like streaming, note-taking, gaming, and multitasking. With 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of base storage, users get more room to work, play, and learn without needing an upgrade right away.

The iPad maintains its sleek 11-inch Liquid Retina display with vibrant colors and crisp resolution, perfect for browsing, watching videos, or drawing. Its all-screen design, available in fun colors like Blue, Pink, Yellow, and Silver, is modern yet approachable. Touch ID remains in the top button, and it charges via USB‑C, making it easy to pair with accessories like the Apple Pencil (USB‑C) and Magic Keyboard Folio.

For capturing memories or hopping on video calls, the iPad features dual 12 MP camera—one on the back and a front-facing one with Center Stage to keep you perfectly in frame. Connectivity includes Wi‑Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, and optional 5G for the cellular version.

Battery life holds steady at up to 10 hours, offering all-day use on a single charge. While it doesn’t support advanced multitasking tools like Stage Manager or the latest Apple Intelligence features, it’s ideal for students, families, and anyone looking for a reliable, powerful tablet at an affordable price—starting at just $349.

Protect your iPad with this MoKo Case for iPad which provides a protective cover and easily converts to different angles for typing and viewing. This Rugged Protective Case provides a built-in pencil storage area and an all-around protective case. Both are available in a variety of colors. Don’t forget your Tempered Glass Screen Protector.

In short, the 2025 iPad (11th generation) is a well-rounded, beautifully designed tablet that balances price and performance, making it a great choice for most users.
