Colleen Hoover’s Verity
Colleen Hoover has quickly become one of my favorite authors. Her It Ends with Us and It Starts with Us bestsellers were the first I read. Verity was the next. I have a bunch more to read this summer. I’m so exited to continue reading Reminders of Him later today! I just cannot get enough of her! LoL. I know I sound nuts right now, but her novels are those which you can dive in and feel like you are part of her book. They’re are addictive. Verity is nothing like the first two I read. It amazes me how easily she can switch between genres
Read about Verity….
If you're a mom looking for a summer read that’s not about diaper blowouts or PTA drama, then Colleen Hoover’s Verity is your next guilty pleasure—with a capital GUILTY. This twisty psychological thriller is a total 180 from her usual romance vibes, and it’s absolutely addictive. The story follows Lowen, a struggling writer who’s hired to finish the bestselling series of famous author Verity Crawford, who’s been injured and is unable to continue her work. Lowen moves into Verity’s home to dig through her notes—and instead finds a hidden manuscript full of dark secrets, jaw-dropping confessions, and some serious “am I reading this right?!” moments. And did we mention there’s a hot, emotionally tortured husband involved? Because of course there is.
This book is juicy, suspenseful, and totally unputdownable—perfect for moms who want something darker than their usual romance but still crave the emotional drama. It’s like watching a true crime doc while sipping wine after the kids go to bed. And the best part? Verity is the next Colleen Hoover book being turned into a movie, so you’ll want to read it before everyone starts posting spoilers. It’s creepy, sexy, and just twisted enough to keep you turning pages long after bedtime. Consider this your official permission slip to ignore the laundry and dive into the chaos.
